Webinars are a great way to reach out to busy business owners and managers!

So webinars are finding more and more favour with business people who still want the benefits of attending a seminar without the hassle of leaving the office in order to attend. Running webinars gives you and your business an opportunity to reach out to customers, demonstrate your expertise and the effectiveness of your products, and engage with them.
Webinars assist your business in:
Generating new leads
Educating new and existing clients on the benefits of your products/services
Reaching prospects and decision makers who are generally not easy to get in touch with
Choose relevant topics that your customers and prospects care about. You should identify an issue or challenge in your target market and create a webinar which demonstrates how you or your firm can help businesses to address the issue.

Be tactical and develop a game plan. In running a webinar, you are giving a certain amount of information and advice away to your clients and prospects for free. You need to get a return on this investment. Decide on which tactics you will use to develop new business from your webinar. For example, capture all email addresses of your webinar attendees.
Invite everyone you're connected to. Apart from using email, social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn can be used to invite clients and prospects to a webinar. However, this is only the beginning.
Once you've run your webinar, friend, follow and connect with all attendees, and they should be receptive because they watched your session online. Additionally, send everyone an email/newsletter out to those who viewed the webinar and attach a link where the participants can download the notes from the session.
Ensure that you record those who click through and download the notes as these people are the most interested in your products or services. Pass these contact details on to your salespeople and ensure that they follow up on the leads within a couple of days.
In addition, have a series of webinars lined up for the future as this will show that your business is invested in providing an on-going information service.
But most importantly, remember to stay in regular contact. A monthly e-newsletter should be sufficient as people can unsubscribe if they want to. Remember to keep a list of those that click through to your blog posts and website and make sure that your sales team follows up on these potential leads.
